
Canon has announced the RF 75-300mm f/4-5.6. It is being touted as a lightweight and easy-to-use telephoto zoom lens designed to help photographers/videographers extend their reach when capturing wildlife, sports, etc.

This new lens essentially looks to be the RF mount version of the Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III Lens.

With a 75-300mm focal range, this new RF lens is being targeted at entry-level EOS R users. It weighs in at just 507g, and it has a close 1.5m minimum focusing distance at 300mm.

The RF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 can also be paired with an APS-C body such as the EOS R100, delivering an even greater effective reach of 120-480mm.
Pricing & Availability
The RF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 is scheduled to be available in Australia from May 2025 for $399 AU. The lens is not being sold in the US for some reason.
