ZHIYUN has announced its new X100 RGB Light. The X100 RGB is being billed as a compact and powerful pocket-sized lighting solution.
The X100 RGB Light is a thinnest 100W RGB COB light with a heat sink thickness of less than 2cm, and a total body thickness of approximately 3cm. It weighs just 384g.
The fixture features vintage-style leather, which is an unusual choice for a light.
The X100 is CCT adjustable from 2500K to 10000K. It utilizes an ultra-thin mini lens reflector to produce a claimed output of 12,600 lux . Now, ZHIYUIN states that it has the equivalent output of 300W to 500W professional video lights, but you have to remember that this output is coming from a very concentrated narrow beam.
ZHIYUN claims that its innovative cooling system ensures stable, high-brightness output over extended periods.
The MOLUS X100 RGB is also compatible with three professional light modifiers: The ZHIYUN Mini 4-Leaf Barn Doors feature a metal design and magnetic attachment. The ZHIYUN Spotlight Attachment delivers sharp projection with adjustable focus. The ZHIYUN Softbox 40D offers a larger soft light area and enhanced color rendering.
The MOLUS X100 RGB features a ZY mount supporting ZHIYUN Mini light modifiers while also being compatible with Bowens mount modifiers.
The MOLUS X100 RGB features a detachable 55.08Wh grip battery that provides 34 minutes of full-power runtime. It also supports PD fast charging and a DC adapter input.
The ZY Vega App supports multi-light Bluetooth networking control, remote real-time dimming, and group control of light settings.
